General Description

The Calergi Residence Hotel is a beautiful four star establishment that has been entertaining guests since 1985. It is orientated to traditional local architecture and high ecology standards.

Location Overview

A short drive out of Rethymno into the hills behind the town will bring you to the small village of Atsipopoulo, where this lovely group of apartments have been built, next to an old Venetian house and a beautiful church.

Rooms Information

The apartments are arranged over two floors with a nice spiral staircase connecting the floors. They are decorated with colorful prints on the wall, wicker furniture and pretty pieces of traditional Cretan pottery are scattered artfully. The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a safe, satellite television and an en-suite bathroom.

Restaurants & Bars

Unfortunately the Calergi Residence Hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are three taverns within walking distance of the hotel who also deliver to the hotel. A full buffet breakfast is served each morning, featuring a range of hot and cold dishes to choose from, transforming an ordinary breakfast into a feast.

Facilities & Services

The Calergi Residence Hotel has a beautiful courtyard, filled with trees and flowers and in the center is the outdoor swimming pool with deckchairs and umbrellas. Those arriving by car can make use of the on-site parking. At reception guests can find a range of tourist information, making sure guest get to see all the fascinating sights and scenes.
